Dr George Gosztola

Dr. George Gosztola grew up in Orange County California. As a typical child of his generation and environment he enjoyed the invigorating influence of outdoor beach activities and high school sports.George chose to enter the Air Force immediately after high school, where he served as a Military Policeman and traveled extensively.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Riverside in Cellular Biology where he graduated with honors whilst working in a research laboratory.

George continued his education at the University of Southern California where he was chosen as one of only 12 students for the Problem Based Learning pilot program at the Dental School. While at USC, he completed internships in Implant Dentistry and Oral Surgery at USC-LAC Medical Center. Dr. Gosztola graduated from USC on the Dean's List with academic honors, earned the school's Humanitarian Service Award, and the highly competitive Restorative Dentistry Award. We were all thrilled to have this sought after young dentist bring his strong diagnostic and clinical skills to our practice in 2000.

Dr. Gosztola has a passion for the profession of Dentistry and recognizes the ever changing and evolving of new technologies, methods and materials. He is a member of several Dental Study Clubs, the American Dental Association, where he serves as a member of the ADA Clinical Evaluator (ACE) Panel, the Washing State Dental Association, and the Seattle/King County Dental Society, where he is a member of the continuation education committee,Dr. Gosztola strives to stay at the forefront of dental care. In fact, he has been recognized by his peers as one of Seattle area’s “Top Dentists” every year since 2009.Volunteer service and mentoring the next generation of dental providers is important to Dr. Gosztola. He works with dental students and the international aid organization AYUDA, to provide dental care in underserved areas. He also volunteers with local community outreach clinics providing emergency treatment for those most in need of assistance.

Dr. Gosztola and his wife Brooke are raising three active boys Miles, Adam and Lachlan. When not in the dental office, he can be found coaching one of his sons' baseball or basketball teams or hiking, snow-shoeing or bike riding.

Dr. Ken James
 

Brigham Young University

Dr. Ken James grew up playing basketball and other high school sports in Vancouver, WA. He earned an undergraduate degree in science and business at Brigham Young University. He played 4 years of basketball at the university, culminating in their #2 nationally ranked team winning the NIT, (National Invitational Tournament,) in NY in 1966. Ken met and married his wife Rhondda, at BYU.They then moved back to Washington, to attend 4 years of Dental School at the University of Washington. Rhondda was from Australia, so early visits to her home culminated in Ken being invited to be part of the Australian National Basketball program.

Dr. James and Rhondda moved to Australia after graduation from Dental School to practice dentistry and to compete at the Munich Olympic Games.Dr. James started his professional dental career in Australia but he missed the beautiful scenery of the Northwest. He missed the changing seasons, the mild climate, the sports teams and most of all, the people. He enjoys cheering on the Mariners, Seahawks and his grandchildren’s local teams at sporting events.His greatest passion is spending quality time with his wife Rhondda, his three daughters, three sons in law and six awesome grandchildren. Travel is also a joy, having visited 88 countries, many playing basketball, with his family, or lecturing on dentistry.

As founder of the James Gang Dental Group, it has been a great joy to incorporate his son-in-law Dr. George Gosztola and his daughter Chelsea Hollister into the greatest dental team in America.

 

Dr Stuart Ayling

Dr. Stuart Ayling grew up in the Seattle area. He left the state to play college football in California before returning to the University of Washington for both his under graduate Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and later, his Doctorate in Dentistry.

Dr. Ayling loves the northwest. He and his wife Renee are living their dream on one of our lovely lakes with a view of Mt Rainier. Dr. Ayling loves to ski on snow and water. He loves competing in local Triathlons and spending time with his wife and four children. Dr. Ayling is a great asset to the James Gang Dental Group.

 

 

 

Dr. Doug Peyton
 

Dr. Doug Peyton is our resident orthodontist. Dr. Peyton attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate studies and stayed on at the UW to complete his 4 year Doctorate in Dentistry. After practicing as a general dentist for 3 years, he chose to attend the University of Southern California to receive his Masters of Science in Craniofacial Biology and degree in Orthodontics. 

Dr. Peyton was anxious to return to the Pacific Northwest as he so loves the natural beauty of our area and the myriad of outdoor activities available. He enjoys fly fishing and travel, along with his wife Beth.

Dr. Peyton offers our patients a full range of orthodontics services including braces for children, adolescents and adults, Invisalign, and dentofacial orthopedics. Have him give you the beautiful smile you have always wanted.
